Comprehensive Facilities Plan

JLG Architects was selected to update our Comprehensive Facilities Plan (CFP), formerly known as the Campus Master Plan.

The CFP is a document that guides our decision-making processes for future investments on facility enhancements such as new construction, demolition, renovation, maintenance and repair projects across the entire campus.

An update to the CFP is required by Minnesota State every five years. Minnesota State subscribes to an integrated planning model which is intended to “engage the right people in the right conversations at the right time in the right way” to produce plans that are actionable and realistic.

Utility Master Plan

The campus also elected to enhance the CFP with completing a Utility Master Plan.  The UMP evaluates the campus utilities infrastructure and provides recommendations for utilities infrastructure to meet the needs for future facilities and strategies to advance our sustainability goals and provide information for a Climate Action Plan.

If you have questions or comments regarding the Comprehensive Facilities Plan, please email them to Nate Huettl, Director of Planning & Construction.
