The purpose of a sabbatical leave is to enhance professional development, support department/unit goals, and/or meet the instructional, service, or research priorities of the university.

Application PRocess
As part of our continued efforts to ensure equity and confidentiality, we will be using the Watermark Faculty Success module for sabbatical submission and review. The application process includes the following steps:
- Faculty Sabbatical Application
- Department Personnel Committe
- Department Chair Recommendation
- College Dean Recommendation
- Faculty Improvement & Sabbatical Committee Review
- Provost Recommendation
- President's Decision
- Faculty Acknowledgement

Required after approval From the President
- Signed Sabbatical Agreement Form
- If necessary, Out-of-State Travel Form (only accessible for employees)
