Investigation of Sexual Violence Complaints

Minnesota State University, Mankato is committed to creating a safe campus environment, free from sexual violence. The Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX, under the Board Policy 1B.3 Sexual Violence, assists students and employees who may be currently experiencing or have experienced a matter relating to sexual violence. Sexual Violence is a continuum of conduct that includes, sexual assault, dating, intimate partner, and relationship violence, non-forcible sex offenses, and/or stalking.

The Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX investigates matters regarding sexual violence complaints under the Board Procedure 1B.3.1 Response to Sexual Violence and Title IX Sexual Harassment. The Office also acts as a referral agency for students and employees needing additional services from other University offices.
