Student Payroll Policies and Procedures

The policies and procedures on this website pertain to the employment of any student at Minnesota State University, Mankato. All University departments who employ students should have an understanding of the payroll policies and procedures. Departments need to inform student employees of policies, payroll dates and information pertaining to the Minnesota State Mankato Student Payroll website.

The established payroll policies are required by Minnesota State, Federal and State workstudy guidelines, Internal Revenue Service for Federal taxes, State and Social Security taxes, the Minnesota State Mankato College of Graduate Studies, and Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The established payroll procedures are required by the Minnesota State Payroll System, and the Student Payroll Office at Minnesota State Mankato.
