Worker's Compensation Procedures for Injury or Illness
Please see the instructions below for work-related injuries or illnesses.
Life-Threatening Illness or Injury
- If the situation is life-threatening, call 507-389-2111 or 911.
- If you are unable to drive, security will be notified, respond, and direct the ambulance to you.

- Tell the doctor/nurse your illness or injury may be work related.
- Report your injury to the workers’ compensation coordinator in Human Resources at 507-389-2015.
Non-Life-Threatening Illness or Injury
- Immediately notify your supervisor.
- Your supervisor, security, and you can determine if medical attention is needed.
If you do not need medical attention at this time:
- Report your injury to the workers’ compensation coordinator in Human Resources at 507-389-2015.
- Check in with your supervisor within a couple of days. Share contact info so they can follow up daily until you are okay.
- If your condition does not improve within three (3) days, contact the coordinator at 507-389-2015 and visit:
