- Douglas R. Moore Faculty Research Lecture
- The Douglas R. Moore Faculty Research Lectureship, established to honor the University's ninth President, is the most prestigious research award conferred by Minnesota State University, Mankato. The purpose of the Douglas R. Moore Faculty Research Lectureship is to celebrate the joy and excitement of scholarly creativity.
- Teaching Scholar Fellowships
- The purpose of these fellowships is to provide support for faculty in their commitments to teaching and learning at Minnesota State University, Mankato. This award is for a project that exemplifies the University’s commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, the scholarship of teaching, and outcomes that enhance student learning.
- Distinguished Faculty Scholars
- Distinguished Faculty Scholars are tenured professors whose body of scholarship and current level of scholarly achievement warrant distinction with the university community.
- Faculty Improvement Grants
- The Faculty Improvement Grant is designed to provide funding for faculty members to improve performance in one or more of the following areas: (1) Teaching, (2) Scholarly or Creative Activity, (3) Continuing Preparation and Study, (4) Contributions to Student Growth and Development, and (5) Service to the University and Community.
- Faculty Research Grants
- The purpose of a Faculty Research Grant at Minnesota State University, Mankato is to encourage excellence in research, scholarship, and creative activities among faculty.
- Professional Improvement Funds
- Professional improvement funds shall mean support funds for improving professional competence. All faculty except adjunct faculty shall be eligible for professional improvement funds.
- Grant Writing Incentives
- The purpose of External Grant Writing Support is to encourage excellence in research, scholarship, and creative activities among Minnesota State University, Mankato faculty and staff by providing incentive to write and submit an external grant. Stipends will be paid to compensate the Principal Investigator for their time associated with writing the grant proposal.
- Adjunct Faculty Improvement Funds
- Adjunct Faculty Improvement Grants (AFIG) are designed to provide funding for adjunct faculty members to improve performance in teaching and/or professional development.
- Board of Trustees Awards for Excellence
- The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees Awards for Excellence are conferred annually to college and university teaching faculty and university service faculty to acknowledge and provide systemwide recognition for consistently superior commitment to student learning and to encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence.
