MinnPoly Organizational Transition

As of January 2026, MinnPoly’s programs and activities have been integrated into the University’s broader institutional framework, and MinnPoly no longer operates as a standalone unit.

While the unit has formally closed, the University will continue to support and expand the core pillars that defined the MinnPoly vision—industry informed pathways, applied learning models, and strong collaboration with employers and community partners.

How This Transition Has Been Implemented

To ensure continuity of services, MinnPoly staff members have been reassigned within Academic Affairs, allowing their knowledge, relationships, and ongoing efforts to continue supporting our community.

This approach embeds MinnPoly’s work within our established organizational structure and allows applied learning initiatives and partnership development to continue without interruption to student experience and ongoing engagement with industry and community partners. Updated staff responsibilities are reflected below.  If you have general questions about the transition, industry and/or partnership relations, please contact Michelle Moosally at michelle.moosally@mnsu.edu or (507) 389-1044.

Stakeholder Resources

Stakeholders should continue to route inquiries, partnership ideas, and project requests through their existing University contacts. As responsibilities have shifted to receiving units, updated contact information will be shared as needed.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as MinnPoly’s work is fully integrated into the broader University structure. This integration strengthens the institution’s ability to deliver applied, workforce‑responsive education and sustain meaningful engagement with industry and community partners.
