Benefits, Retirement and Paid Time Off

The University offers Health & Dental Insurance, Life & Disability Insurance, Pre-tax Benefits, and several Retirement Savings Plans (mandatory & voluntary). This is typically referred to as the State Employee Group Insurance Plan (SEGIP). In addition, eligible employees receive paid time off, including sick and vacation leave and may receive Tuition Waiver. (Refer to applicable bargaining units and personnel plans for eligibility, criteria, and usage.) Adjunct should also refer to adjunct faculty retirement and insurance.

Important Note: Not all employees are eligible for all benefits. Eligibility is determined by several factors including type and length of employment as well as applicable bargaining agreement/personnel plan.
