Minnesota Advantage Health Plan
Information about the State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) Minnesota Advantage Health Plan can be viewed at the Minnesota Management & Budget medical coverage website.
A standard set of benefits is offered with the SEGIP Advantage Health Plan. However, there are still some differences from carrier to carrier in the way benefits are administered and in the referral and diagnosis coding patterns of primary care clinics.
The Minnesota Advantage Health Plan offers the following two insurance carriers:
CVS Caremark is the pharmacy benefit manager for the Minnesota Advantage Health Plan. Visit the CVS Caremark website for additional information for Minnesota Advantage Health Plan members, including a complete list of prescriptions and copays, a pharmacy directory, mail-order information, and more.
Dental Insurance
Information about the State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) Minnesota Advantage Health Plan can be viewed at the Minnesota Management & Budget dental coverage website.
Two dental insurance carriers may be available to you and your dependents through SEGIP. As with the health insurance carriers, not all dental insurance carriers are available in every county of the state.
